Mary Giffard (d.1598) erected this monument to her husband John 'Warrior' Wykes (c.1525-1591) in 1592. His effigy lies in armour with his feet resting on a goose, representing the arms of his maternal ancestor Burnell of Cocktree. The monument also displays the arms of Wykes and those of his wife's family the Giffards.
