GRACE FILMORE SERCOMBE 1810

This is the last Will and Testament of me Grace Sercombe of the City of Exeter Widow as follows

I give & bequeath unto my Daughter Susan Sercombe the use of all my household Goods & Furniture for her life or until her marriage which shall first happen after the marriage or death of my said Daughter Susan then I give the use of such household Goods & Furniture to my Daughter Jane Luke Widow for her life or until her Marriage which shall first happen & from after the marriage or death of my said Daughter Jane Luke then I give my said household Goods & Furniture unto my Grandson George Sercombe Luke absolutely to & for his own use benefit & disposal All the rest residue & remainder of my personal Estate of what nature or kind soever I give & bequeath unto my Daughters Susan Sercombe & Jane Luke & to my Nephew John Burnett upon trust to convert the same into money to invest the same (after payment of my Debts & Funeral Expenses) in the purchase of Parliamentary Stocks or Funds in their names and to stand possessed thereof upon the Trusts following that is to say upon trust to pay all Dividends thereof unto my said Daughter Susan Sercombe & her Assigns for her life or until her Marriage which shall first happen for her use & after the marriage or death of my said Daughter Susan then upon Trust to pay the Dividends unto my said Daughter Jane then upon Trust to stand possessor of such Stocks and Funds upon Trust for my Grandson George Sercombe Luke absolutely provided he shall live to attain the Age of 21 but if he should happen to die under that age then I give & bequeath the said Stocks & Funds unto the survivor of them my said Daughters absolutely & to her Executors Admins or Assigns
I appoint my said Daughter Susan Sercombe sole Executrix of this my Will
