CHURCH HOUSE, South Tawton, Devon

A late 15th century building, constructed of granite with a thatched roof which stands adjacent to St Andrew's church in South Tawton.
The parish community has used Church House for over 500 years and it is still owned by the Incumbent and Church Wardens.
St Andrew's church contains a memorial monument to John 'Warrior' Wykes (c.1525-1591), erected in 1592 by his wife Mary Giffard (d.1598).
